Adding medication to therapy can help you feel better faster, with an approximately 50–60% improved rate of recovery. And because I don't rush appointments, there's time to talk, not just to refill.
What medication management includes
A thorough first evaluation
Your history, symptoms, health, family history and goals, so a diagnosis and plan are built on the full picture.
Shared decisions
We talk through options, benefits and side effects. Your ideas and thoughts matter, and you're never handed a prescription without an explanation.
Careful follow-up
Regular visits to check how you're feeling, fine-tune doses, watch for side effects and know when it's time to change course.
Therapy in the same hour
CBT, psychodynamic and supportive therapy woven into each appointment rather than a 10-minute med check.
Coordination
With your permission, I communicate with your primary care provider, gynecologist, therapist or your child's school.
Already have a therapist?
You can see me for medication management while continuing with your current therapist. Many of my patients do. With your permission, I'm happy to coordinate so everyone is working toward the same goals.
Conditions I prescribe for
ADHD (stimulants and non-stimulants), depression, anxiety disorders, panic disorder, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, PMDD, and mood, anxiety and cognitive changes in perimenopause and menopause, for children, teens and adults.
